Not even that, it was only about 8 appearances. He came into a team that was in form too. There's definitely a player in there, but there's still a massively unknown quantity about him. Those 8 games might not be a true representation of his quality over the course of a season. I thought it was incredible when he was getting touted for Man Utd and England. If not, then you don't know how much would have been needed, clearly a lot more than the 25m you seem to think he was going for since it wasn't ever really close. If not, then you don't know how much would have been needed, clearly a lot more than the 25m you seem to think he was going for since it wasn't ever really close. We never made an approach. The lad is coming back from injury and he's having to cope with suddenly large expectations on his shoulders, in a team under pressure. Not fit, no confidence, crap tactics (tactics?), crap manager who has no idea but to get his players to run as fast as possible and 'put in an effort'. Every player is looking shit bar Maximin, and that's because he does everything himself and doesn't need to rely on team play. The formation is crap and we have no movement.
