Any player of the month chance, how many goals did Haaland score? ?

In October

Haaland - 6 goals, 2 assists

Miggy - 5 goals, 0 assists

Could go either way really, the media attention on Almiron in these last 2 weeks could help his case though.

Between Miggy & Haaland for player of the month ? "squad player" ?

Where have you been for the last 3 years? Many good squad players have had a good month in the Premier League. Miggy was good under Rafa but absolutely cack afterwards (even by the standards being set at the time) and Howe barely picked him last season after he took over.

He's a good squad player to have around but shouldn't be an automatic starter when he calms the fuck down and reverts to type, which he will.

Apologies for not having a ridiculously polarizing opinion of the bloke.

Fully deserves a new contract. In terms of his development, I’m obviously not expecting him to be the attacking force consistently that he’s been over the last five games but I hope he can maintain this part of his game where he’s confident enough to make runs, to beat his man and to play with an attacking mindset. We know his left foot is great, that’s not going to go away and the longer he keeps performing like this the more belief he’ll have to keep playing like this

Everyone was shite under Bruce. Definitely think he is capable of being more than a squad player over the next couple of seasons at least whilst we are growing our squad. Think our priorities at the minute are CDM and CAM. Trying to close the gap and break into the top 4 obviously won't be cheap.

I found this way more shan on Miggy last season than the Grealish comments tbh. Absolutely no need and hope Miggy takes it out on Rudiger for us in UCL next season.

What's he even doing there, acting like he's going to fall over or something?

Aye but the quality of Almirons goals are miles better than Haalands so should be Almiron in my opinion. Haaland only scored tap-ins and penalties :iamatwat:
