Going into a PL season with 1 striker (who isn’t a striker), 1 injury prone and 1 slightly less injury prone/Championship standard. Yet he’s happy with that unless we find someone better?... Realistically there's no way we can buy a decent striker for anything less than £30m unless he's about 34, and that would be red flagged for lack of resale value. We never seem to get the top 6 teams cast offs either. That should be our market loaning fringe players from the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal but we don’t even bother doing that.
