Failing to do so is purely down to coaching. Edit: a League Two side that finished 22nd in the table last season ffs. Could play Joelinton at keeper and win. I said this after that shambles against Blackburn. Their side looked younger in age and experience than ours, yet they passed us off the park, the only thing missing from their play was finishing, and that's the one attribute you have to pay for. I hate all this pre match "we'll try to do something". Means nothing other than you don't have any tactics and you're just sending out the players to figure something out on the field. I really wish we'd look for a younger manager that maybe doesn't have a name but at least tries to implement a way of playing, at least then you could just go 'these players aren't good enough'. Instead Steve says we are going to "give it a go!" It might seem nitpicking, but psychologically hes lost battle before its begun. Just like against Brighton when it was, "they like to keep the ball." All the home dressing room hears is, "it's ok if we dont have the ball." Hes a clown. Sadly they risk being banned by the club if they dare become so outspoken.
