Various: N-O has lost the plot over potential end of Mike Ashley's tenure

I think PIF will argue that MBS doesnt run it, that other fella who meant to be our chairman does. I'm sure they have thought it through though.

If the prince running Sheff Utd was part of the group then I  think it would be a non starter. Don't think he is (sure it's his own money) and as such Staveley and our proposed future chairman as you said will have known all the possible issues and have the responses prepared. You don't pay £17 million non-refundable deposit unless they are pretty sure they have everything covered.

Thing is though, they can have all the confidence in the world but it'll count for nothing if the PL interpret things differently. If that happens, hopefully it'd be up for debate and discussion.

Think it will be based on actual facts not interpretation otherwise you are leaving yourself facing a massive lawsuit.

Hope so.

Just been on a conference call with my team from around the UK and all they wanted to talk about was the takeover. Was bloody refreshing to have people just wanting to talk about the football side and what it could bring, instead of "human rights this, illegal streams that, doom and gloom" (this was from Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, Leicester fans). People are expecting us to be a force real fast and all the chat got me well excited. Anyway, back in here for more doom to bring me back down to earth with a miserable bump.

Without direct links to Ashley I may be a little more acceptable of Steve Bruce keeping on til the end of the season and maybe even including him in the club to some capacity going forward. I don't think he's got the tactical or studious ability that we'll need playing to a higher level but he probably does bring some motivation to the club and perhaps would help encourage the playing staff towards the more localised link and love of the club. That said, I could just be being soft because I keep hearing examples of how he's such a nice bloke

I get the feeling MBS is a figurehead and ceremonial “head” of the PIF but rather has very little to no interaction with the day to day and will likely only be involved on update meetings or when money is being wired to acquire or dispose of something. Further I have serious doubts he gives a single fuck about what Sheffield United are doing.

Can't believe the illegal streaming thing is an issue. The amount of people in the UK that participate in illegal internet-based activities is utterly absurd.

Reminds me of Salford City's dodgy box in their club house

It's not illegal internet streaming.  It's hijacking the transmission broadcasts of Bein and then broadcasting as their own with beoutQ branding.

Fuck that! He's a symbol of the mediocrity of the Ashley era. A terrible, cheap appointment who is grateful for a job- the type of appointment which we've became associated with for the past 13 years. He needs to fuck off as soon as the season is done - which I'm sure he will be. He might be a nice bloke - I have no doubt of that - but he's a shit, fraud of a manager and bit of a parody, all things considered. The sooner he is gone and true, footballing man with a clear identity of how he wants to play and move the club forward is needed as soon as it becomes viable to do so.

This is a perfect example of how propaganda can get to someone

If we’re going to do this properly and really have a go again, there’s simply no place for Steve Bruce.

Another one trying to stop this happening:

An MP from Sheffield...I wonder if Sheffield United is anything to do with this one. Possibly not but you never know. Had a quick search and I can't find any other examples of him being vocally against Saudi Arabia, seems a bit of a random thing to be troubling him so much tbh.

Again, as in so much from this seeming endless supply of bigoted idiots, the only appropriate word to describe them remains as . . FEEBLE !!!
