Various: N-O has lost the plot over potential end of Mike Ashley's tenure

Recommended Posts

This guy has a mate who is close to Ashley, this is Ashley realising this to put pressure on the increase pressure on the league to make a decision on the Saudi bid imo.

Mostly likely.

Even if it is real, none of it matters until the PL make a decision, so nothing changes.

If someone else has bid, it doesn't mean anything for the current bid. There's a deal in place, it's done. If the PL reject it, then of course Ashley could look for other people.

Pointless even thinking about it at this stage.

Americans are bad for football.

LFC fans would agree, i'm sure

Find it  so weird this line keeps getting repeated about all Americans being terrible owners.

Bad owners are bad for football.

This is the ground being cleared for everyone to save face. The Saudis get to come back and buy a top 6 club in next couple of years, and we get the poor American who we will be told we should be grateful to have.

Of course the fact he’s got no money and will be no threat to top 6, will mean he sails though checks.

He wouldn’t sail through checks like, he would find it impossible to provide proof of funds, because he doesn’t have any.

If it's true, he's probably bidding £350m because Ashley is lending him the money to buy the club, which will then be paid back to Ashley by taking out a loan against the club's value. The extra £50m is Ashley's "loan fee".

That's the only rational explanation.

Guess who wins again etc.

Saudi bid fails, Ashley pockets the deposit, gets more money from some chancer who will most likely allow a few advertising deals.  Guess who.....  :weep:

So why do you think someone would outbid a deal that has failed due to PL tests?  Its just typical paper nonsense.

Just more shit being peddled by the press.

‘The WTO report has came back and it means nothing, and the fans have seen through our lies, what else can we throw at them?’

‘Want to reprint that American guy story again?’

Where is that from? Pretty damning.

That aside he brokers deals and moves money around therefore it might be a case he’s got backing from other parties and he’s just the head of it like staveley. The extra £50m though would suggest its spread over time, which means it’ll be more of the same just without Ashley making decisions but no doubt still having his cancerous claws stuck in the club.

Yeah... this is basically the point where I say we've circled back to the usual "fakeover" circus with blatant prop bidders and nonsensical scheming. Can't see any change of ownership happening.

Ashley man  A cushty £17m pocketed for his holiday home.
