TBF the player takes a lot of the blame for the situation as well.

Hmm. I'm willing to accept that he just delayed them coming, until he was settled. Probably the reason they're still there is because he saw what a shitshow the club was and wasn't prepared to commit his family.

Randomly saw he does a podcast with michail antonio listened to latest one, nothing on there of particular interest and if honest none of them particularly insightful on anything (just a bit of a 'bantz' pod by sounds of it, but was nice how he insisted on his votes for end of season awards to bruno, big joe and eddie howe despite being ribbed for only nominating from his own team

Bit worried for the lad. Can he still put the ball in the back of the net this season? Seems he can't even drink his cuppa properly these days. Coffee stained Mags.

Read these stats in The Mirror:

”Wilson signed for the Magpies in September 2020 for around £20m, and has since gone on to register 20 goals and five assists in 44 top flight outings during his two-season stay. ”

Imagine how excited we’d be signing someone new who had that kind of return in the Premier League?

In his 6 seasons at Bournemouth he played over 25 times in 4 of them and 30 or more in 3 of those 4.

26 is the most appearances he's had in a season with us. So perhaps Howe will have a plan in place for him, to keep him fit for longer and injury free as much as possible.

Not having to rely on him to play 90minutes whenever he is avaible because we actually have another capable ST or 2 will also play a big part.

44 appearances in 2 years because of injury?

We’ve been linked with one who has a similar record and is younger and a lot of people don’t rate him and are scared off by his injury record.

It's more because he scores headers and is not known for his speed. That part of the game is unfashionable.

Hopefully Eddie Howe can manage Wilson a lot better than Bruce.

And it looks as though our back room staff and equipment are being improved,

I think Bruce's idea of Getting fit for football was simply going out and running multiple miles.:promotion:
