ponsaelius
It feels like a signing that should have happened years ago for a much smaller fee. We were looking at him when he was at Cov and around the time we signed Bigirimana. Clearly we had a positive relationship with Cov considered the Armstrong and Sterry loans. That being said if we'd signed him he'd probably gone the way of Ivan Toney while here.

TRon
I've never watched much of Bournemouth, but I always had the assumption, probably based on something silly like FM stats, that he was a player that relied a lot on his pace. Got to see a few matches at the end of last season and was surprised how slow he seemed to be. Didn't play particularly well either, although same could be said about their whole team. His injury record is not being questioned due to his last two seasons, but the three seasons prior to that where he missed 10, 18 and 25 matches. He'd still walk into this team though, whether it's on one or two knees. Presumably he is more the goal poacher type then if his pace isn't all that. Although he should probably be scoring a few more goals if that's the case.
Anderson
That now means we have 3 ex-#9s on our books.

Gallowgate Toon
Good. Let's hope he can stump up some Rondon-like figures and scrape us through the season!
KaKa
Solid signing. Wish him the best man. Seems like a sound guy. Will be nice to have someone with confidence upfront again.
TwoForJoy
Nice that they blurred out the Shit Direct signs.
Guest neesy111
Still sceptical of this signing but hope he proves me wrong.

Yep, I spoke to his brother in a pub about 3 years back, and he said he was very close to coming here and that he saw us as his destiny. My stepson was in his class at school, nice lad. Dr Jinx
So refreshing to hear someone come in and say he’d be disgusted with himself if he didn’t reach double figures with goals. Has any forward scored more than 20 goals in a season here since Shearer? (Dwight Gayle in the champo doesn’t count)

KaKa
When you really look at that Bournemouth team, outside of Fraser who did they really have that created chances? They didn't have anyone in central midfield that could match what Shelvey can pull out of the bag. And the likes of Stanislas and King are runners that tend to have their heads down. ASM, Fraser, Miggy and Shelvey should create a lot more opportunities for Wilson really. If he ends up with less than double figures it would be quite disappointing. Yorkie
I wonder if an Ashley manager has ever had this much freedom when it comes to selecting players and then actually signing them. Rafa summer 16? Still the net spend was something like -£30m.

La Parka
Should make a massive difference. Takes the pressure off the midfield a little and will help us hold the ball better.
