Some more info on the accident here. Sounds horrific.

Please don't take this as a dig at you at all, but (BBC,) do we really require a live newe stream for this? Have some respect you absolute ghouls.

That's the press for you.

They'll be going on and on about how they need to replace him, and intensify the Isak links over and over again, soon enough.

Absolute ghouls. 😔

Jesus…tragic doesn’t begin to describe it, absolutely horrific. His family is what’s important in this, but on the pitch I always respected him. For a small guy, scored headers, great awareness, positive, always fit into the team wherever asked.  I always thought he was seemed a good bloke, maybe because of that. Either way, RIP Diogo Jota

We're all just stunned at work, like. No idea how to continue the day because everything about this is so tragic.

All these recent professional and personal highs, ended so abruptly. Fucking hell, man.

RIP Diogo and Andre

Aye, thought he was a really good player. Utterly tragic to read and completely shocked

Ah, man. Absolutely devastating. And his brother, too. :( I honestly didn't know he had a brother playing at his own high level. So many people in football that will probably be utterly rocked along with their families.

RIP Diogo Jota and André Silva. Absolutely no age, nor no way to go.

BBC saying his tyre blew out as he was overtaking someone. Such a tragic thing to happen on what's an everyday action.

Just when you think someone has everything in life. Snatched away in a split second.
