Infinitely Content
Love him but he would still be a sub for us. Hope to see him back in 2-3 years as a marquee signing when Joelinton is moving towards the end of his time here.

If not now he will shortly as Joe declines and Anderson is still developing. Technically he's much better on the ball. Physically he will never be big Joe but he has improved and can hold his own now in that department. If he was back here now I'd imagine he and Joe would be pretty close battle in who would start. Really is a shame we had to sell him with hindsight. But if he had stayed he wouldn't necessarily be playing at the level he is currently.

Infinitely Content
I agree that if he were here in his current phase of development, he would be close to Joelinton - but I feel like I rate Joelinton higher than most. I think for some reason it's easier for people to forget or overlook just how good he is, and I often cast my mind back to the cup final where he put in a performance of such a standard that it would be hard for many to get even close to matching it. That's what he has within him, that performance wasn't by any means an exception either. He's still one of our most integral players imo. 80
It'll be interesting to see what we get this year from Joelinton if we've finally got a genuine option for resting him up with before he gets too battered and bruised.

Reminds me alot of James Milner.

Thanks, Villa. We really needed that money to sign… Xisco and Nacho. Great buys. The ugly, only can do step over James Milner. I’ll never forgive that as long as I live. I thought Milner was incredibly mediocre and was overjoyed to get money for him at the time. Sometimes players just need to escape a bad situation to thrive, and back then the bad situation was us. teohgk
I don’t think he would be the same player he is now if he still with us, no chance he’s getting time ahead of Joelinton, Tonali & Bruno

Would have got loads the season before they of he hasn't been injured himself. Bad luck really.
Optimistic Nut
Often a pass makes a great goal (Willock to Isak), but that awareness from Wood to start making the run in anticipation that Anderson might get to the pass first made that. All Anderson needed to do was put the ball into an area. Brilliant stuff.

All the apples have lined up and good for him.
St1pe
I’ve just seen his assist this morning. Wow! It’s great to see him doing so well. Maybe we should have just taken the points hit that season and kept him and Minteh
Menace
Him and Minteh will easily be worth £60M each end of this season. Frustrating really.

Doubtful, but I believe of all the clubs out there, us and Forest get along well. Woods deal was quick and helped them. PSR helped each other (even if we were on the poorer end), then Elanga deal done quick with no kick up. If Anderson is available, we’ll know the price and Forest will be more happy to deal with us. Hanshithispantz
That's one of the best passes I've seen in the league the past few years. Said it before but I don't think he has that big of an online presence which means he's still flying under the radar a bit. He's not your average English mid-table midfielder. STM
I can 100% see us being back in for Anderson in next 2 years. Its gonna take a hell of a whack of money to get him out of Forest.
