Fak
Worth it. Buy him and appoint Simeone Inzaghi. Edited November 10, 2025 by Fak

Sibierski
High praise by Tuchel towards him. Think he’s one of 6 players that are first names on the team sheet for Tuchel if all available (Pickford / James / Saka / Rice / Kane the others). Cf
Man City do like big money on an English midfielder who isn't good enough.

NSG
If he goes to Man City and has a few years under Pep then he’s got a decent chance of becoming one of Englands best ever midfielders imo.
Cf
Like Phillips and Graelish? Not seeing what others do with Anderson tbh. Especially not the ludicrous £100m+ I've seen quoted at times.
duo
Really sad we had to sell him but if he hadn't left he wouldn't have had the game time to make him the player he is today. Just have to look at Mileys minutes.
Fenham Mag
Do we have a sell on %?

Likelylad
He’s a good player but he’s definitely getting talked up a little bit too much. His agent is definitely behind these rumours. He’s been linked with a number of clubs and for silly money. I was a big fan when he was here but let’s not get carried away.

Especially not the ludicrous £100m+ I've seen quoted at times. Phillips was weird because he was never going to be a starter with Rodri there. And Grealish was a very good player, who was just nerfed by Pep to play to certain qualities (ball retention). Man City need legs in the middle, and more HG quota moving forward. Not really a surprise if they want to make a play for Anderson (similar to why they’re continuously linked with Tino). Rjeinders has been poor, Silva and Kovacic will be off in summer, so there’s a big CM spot ready to be filled alongside Rodri. Plus how Anderson has been performing for England, he’s showing he can do that deep CM role exceptionally well which Man City still lack without Rodri (Gonzalez too weak). Skeletor
I hope he's smart enough to see what a career death trap it would be if he went to City.

r0cafella
Really curious how much he goes for mine. Seems we are priced out already which is really unfortunate given how much club grown players are at such a premium for us.

He’ll probably end up at Man U on a massive contract though you’d think he’d love to come back. Agree though I think we’re priced out now which is a shame because there’s a “chance” Tonali might go next summer if we don’t get champions league. If Miley fully grasps his chance then we at least we’ll have one local lad in the midfield but it would’ve been great to have two.

It could be a bizarre situation where he looks to move back to us but we can’t afford the asking price or we had to sell to buy (Joelinton etc)
