toontownman
Rangnick would be great as DOF but could do the interim manager job alongside Jones and/or whomever he wants. Would give him the best hands on experience to develop the club while finding the right person for the head coach job. We do really need an experienced head to turn us around. There would be a MASSIVE weight of expectation and pressure on the shoulders of someone like a Potter, Gerrard or Fonseca. The ship needs steadying. Favre or AVB would be good temporary hires that are available. Not convinced either would be down for a short term stint though.

Chicane
Imagine being the manager of a club, and being so bad at the job that your mere presence is a detriment to the team's chances
ikri
Whilst it would be nice to be shot of him immediately so there's a full week of training without his input, I hope they keep him on until the Spurs game. Then, right before kick off, Stavely can give him his P45 and have security escort him from the stadium in front of the entire crowd.

Knowing the fat cunt was still stinking up the place would put a downer on any excitement that would have been built for the game. Get the cunt out now. Dr Jinx
He’s made everything about himself at every opportunity. Even on the day of the takeover he was giving his “woe is me, some people on the internet said mean things” shtick. It’s as pathetic as his management skills. He’ll never get a bigger job and it could very well be his last job at the top level, you’d have thought he would have at least tried to make the best of it but he seems to have gone out of his way to do the bare minimum this season. Taking a fucking holiday a few weeks into the season. He might not be the worst manager we’ve had statistically, but I can’t recall hating any as much. Emotic
You just know that if Ashley buys over Derby and installs him as manager, his first interview will include: "It's refreshing to be at a place where the fans won't have unrealistic expectations"; "The Newcastle fans never warmed to me because I managed Sunderland."; "It's great to celebrate my thousandth match in charge here, it's clear the new owners at Newcastle didn't give me a chance to show them what I could do.". Dead cert.

deejeck
Saw a supposed quote attributed to Bruce earlier which was something along the lines of "it's a good job my parents are dead because the abuse I've received as Newcastle manager would've destroyed them". He didn't really say that, did he?

Guest neesy111
Woe is me. Your paid millions in a job that 100,000's of nufc fans would do for nowt. He's one of the most selfish cunts around.
RodneyCisse
Worst part is he 100% was trying his best to get the sack to get his payout. Refusing to walk away the absolute weapon.

On every level, he is consistently terrible at being a football manager and yet he’s about to land £8m. A life changing fortune for being unquestionably wank at your profession!! And all he can bring himself to do is play the victim. ”Ah, me Mam and Dad…” Do you want a clue why people don’t like you Steve?
Kimbo
It's tragic there's no fly on the wall documentary, to watch him get sacked and be escorted from the premises would be eyeball nectar.
