James offers nothing as Lewis has enough pace to stop the run in behind. Greenwood won't be far away. The midfield can't string a pass together and is lost without McTominay and Pogba. If we kept the press up we could get something but there doesn’t look like the belief is there apart from Miggy. It looks so half arsed at times and then organised at others. For what it’s worth I think Joelinton has been decent in that wide forward role Jones has our strikers playing now. Levels away from Wilson mind but he’s shading Gayle. Still absolutely zero semblance of an attacking plan and the goal was basically all Maxi; forced the corner with a decent speculative effort then buried the difficult chance. Him being fit basically guarantees survival. Other than that we've offered absolutely fuck all and should be grateful that ManU have been so lethargic.
