So in three months they have:

Bought the club - Ashley has gone

Sacked Bruce and the Steves

Gone through an extensive recruitment process and hired an excellent manager and coaching staff

brought in short term help to support through the transfer window

cleaned up the stadium and removed the sports direct tat

Signed England’s (arguably) first choice RB for £12m

Got potential deals on the go for four or five more

Interviewed a number of potential candidates for Director of Football role

Communicated with the fans on a regular basis

and some think they’re moving too slowly

When it's written down, it's staggering what's happened since October.

Were they all meant to be positives? League 1 Sunderland fans beg to differ.

Well our new owners might have done all that, but have they let the fans paint the seats for free? That's the proof of a new golden era iirc.

So Man City have announced a partnership today with a renewable energy firm, Masdar.

Masdar who are owned by Mubadala.

The CEO of Mubadala? The Chairman of Man City.

Not sure how this fits in with those new rules implemented.

Man City can prove the deal represents a fair market value because they have a history of expensive sponsorships. The fact that that history is based on inflated deals from related companies though is why this system is completely broken.

In theory it must have been approved by the EPL as being fair market value

Doff of the cap to this lot. Everything about this first deal seems absolutely top class.

Player quality/reputation, area of need, fee, contract, timing, etc. Couldn’t have expected more.

If it’s the norm and not the exception we’re in for one hell of a time.

Watching the trippier press conference, little clips of howe etc and honestly, I'm so fuckin happy and grateful that these have noticed the potential and took a shot with us.

Absolutely buzzing that I can care about the club again.  Taking my 2 daughters to the match tomorrow, sat in the gallowgate, it's my eldests second game and I can't fuckin wait again.

Get the fuck in man.

Looking like the main man will be at the game again today.

I get the feeling PIF are taking this investment very seriously.

Happy fucking days.

Does he just fly in watch the game and fly back out ?
