I don’t think we can do next season with him and Burn if we want to kick on, rather keep Burn for 1 + 1 then Botman if I’m being honest. Amir_9 Posted January 10 Share Posted January 10 Other than the original 4th place finish season where he was absolutely part of an immense back 4 - his time here has been plagued with injuries and mediocre to bad performances. Thought he would be getting caps for the Dutch national team during his team here but this has not happened either. Personally would like to see what other options are available in the summer because he hasn't shown consistency or a fitness record worthwhile of being a reliable top 6 defender. First season he mitigated that by being a step ahead of attackers and aggressive, but since then, he’s been a step behind, without the pace to make up and not as aggressive in his play.
