The players were willing to come to a relegation threaten team. Stay up this season and the summer could be absolutely immense. Get a DOF and CEO sorted between now and the end of the season. I know we've signed Digne, who is better, but I'm surprised we've sent him out on loan in any case. I wouldn't rate him worse than 7/10 but I know why some people don't rate him. However, Villa fans voted him their player of the season last year beating out the likes of Grealish, Watkins, Mcginn etc. It's a bit like how most of the world think Joelinton is completely useless but most toon fans know he's now a decent CM now albeit still needs to improve in the final third. I think we should have paid the premium for our first choice CB or attacker. Those positions are transformative to a football team. we went from a mid table team to title challengers signing a LW and CF. We may pay for this with relegation.
