Here's a idea.. maybe Isak wants to stay at Newcastle and is excited about the future of the club , and sees no reason why he cant do everything he wants here.. maybe.

Sign Ekitike for 75M, throw out hints about selling Isak to fund it, and once Liverpool have stepped aside on Ekitike thinking they'll get the main man, sell Tino to Man City for 70M.

Give Isak bumper new deal with foreign club release clause as a reward.

I think this may be the case - an earlier list of dream targets was about £230 million, rinsing Liverpool for £85 million for AG would make the list very possible. Not sure what to hope for but no doubt the next few weeks will be the usual transfer window ride of emotions.

Would love Gordon to stay. If he goes we have Barnes, Willock, Elanga and maybe Ekitike that can go left.

Gordon and Isak are both gassed by about 65-70 mins, they burn very bright but then burn out

Good job you weren’t involved in the discussions about signing Isak

 

he may not have worked out at PSG he only started 12 games but he since moved to Frankfurt and done very well.
