Pilko
Puke is bound to get one right eventually, broken clock etc etc. Hopefully it's this un.
SUPERTOON
What a signing this would be. Would give us so many options this season and future proof us for an Isak sale next summer (obviously hope he stays). Think it’s clear with our targets (Cunha, Pedro and now Ekitike) that we are definitely planning a tweak to formation.
captainhaircut
Fancy we will sell one of Gordon or Barnes to make this work if it’s true. They both pretty much play solely from the left and Elanga, Joelinton and Osula can all play out there plus Isak, Willock and Ekitike (if true). SUPERTOON
Pretty sure one of the more reliable journos (can’t remember which one), said the price is more likely to be around 65 million.

Appreciate their service, in some cases incredible memories like Willock’s 8 game scoring run, but success isn’t based on sentimentality.

HayDen Traces
Haven't the same team just sold Marmoush? They'll be cash rich and demand a fortune. Can't see it myself

I dont believe in this Ekitike story at all, but just selling Longstaff will help us. No need to sell some of the stars.

I saw that Romano had mentioned Frankfurt had dropped the price in reference to Chelsea before they went for Joao Pedro. Think it was to about £65-75m as Ekitike wants to leave this summer and they hadn't had any bites at the release clause amount. I will try and dig it out when I'm at home if no one else can find it

Loki679
If we were going to do £60m on Pedro then £65m on Ekitike isn't that much of a stretch.

SAK
Please let this be true, if some of these links come off like Ekitike and Scalvini and we can also bolster the overall squad we could mount a credible title challenge.

STM
If we were prepared to go near 60 for Joao Pedro, I suppose going a touch more for Ekitike isnt so unlikely. Would be an absolute stunning move. I still cant see it.

Yorkie
"Telegraph Sport understands Newcastle have made the player’s representatives aware of their desire to sign the France Under-21 international and will hope to agree a fee with the Bundesliga club." Means bugger all really. Again, very happy we appear to be targeting serious strikers though. Proper competition for Isak is a sensible investment. I didn't believe the links initially, but we are in a great position to actually do this, or even sell other players to keep on the right side of the PSR line. Would be mad seeing us line up with both Ekitike and Isak for a season.
