What a signing this would be. Would give us so many options this season and future proof us for an Isak sale next summer (obviously hope he stays). Think it’s clear with our targets (Cunha, Pedro and now Ekitike) that we are definitely planning a tweak to formation.

They both pretty much play solely from the left and Elanga, Joelinton and Osula can all play out there plus Isak, Willock and Ekitike (if true).

I dont believe in this Ekitike story at all, but just selling Longstaff will help us. No need to sell some of the stars.

I saw that Romano had mentioned Frankfurt had dropped the price in reference to Chelsea before they went for Joao Pedro. Think it was to about £65-75m as Ekitike wants to leave this summer and they hadn't had any bites at the release clause amount. I will try and dig it out when I'm at home if no one else can find it

If we were prepared to go near 60 for Joao Pedro, I suppose going a touch more for Ekitike isnt so unlikely.

I didn't believe the links initially, but we are in a great position to actually do this, or even sell other players to keep on the right side of the PSR line. Would be mad seeing us line up with both Ekitike and Isak for a season.
