Disco
Top work by all involved. He came in and did his bit and then club get rid for a decent fee. Still reckon he’ll score against us like.
Shak
We've really pissed in their wallet with this deal.

r0cafella
Remarkably this is a worst deal for forest than the one we got from Burnley really is quite shocking.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
That's absolutely cracking business, tbf. A 3 start clause is mental I hope he's got a better contract and is happy but only paying £10 in the end for what we got is brilliant. Love that kind of approach,
nufcjb
3 starts? Fucking hell. Do they have so.many strikers that 3 starts would ever be a doubt for him to reach? Whatever, what great work the transfer team for pulling this off. £15m as opposed to maybe £5-10m is even greater.
gbandit
Forest are class, hope they stay up long-term as they’re a hilarious club
SEMTEX
Obviously I have no idea about the specifics of football accounting and FFP of both uefa and PL varieties, but the whole thing just smells like books cookin to me. Maybe the classic Loan with a mandatory future fee no longer met some classification that allowed clubs to defer the date of spend, so instead they put in a clause that will absolutely get met no matter what. There is no reason other than creative accounting to put in such an inevitable clause imo.
teohgk
We know we're in good hand when the one in charge pulled off deal like this

Likely forest have spent a ton of money and might need to push this expenditure into the next financial year.
54
3 starts, that's kind of hilarious
Menace
Sounds like the club just wanted the money to be paid in summer rather than January and Forest obliged, hence the 3 games clause. Very happy with that. £15m is insane, I was expecting him to go in the summer for a few mill.
Newcastle Fan
Really well done to the team for pulling that off, he was a panic buy and clearly not good enough but served the purpose of us buying him and we got rid at the right time. Also worthwhile reading his thread in the Notts forum since he started his first game, they are realizing they've been duped Edited February 17, 2023 by Newcastle Fan

There was mention of his body language and general demeanour, which had always concerned me in his time here. I hope I'm not being unfair, but he never looked like he was enjoying his football. He seemed reserved, unconfident, reluctant to impose himself. You expect a guy who looks that strong to at least be knocking a few defenders over. r0cafella
Interestingly I doubt we actually wanted to sell. Forest literally made an offer we couldn’t refuse.
Mikky
Surely they go for Lascelles in the summer - hope that was in the Wood clause too
