Yep. He also looks like a hamster that's been converted in to a human. Like he has all his food stored in his fucking cheeks.

What was it Pardew once said about people who join the Southampton academy?

Just reading those quotes again, the bloke was an absolute lunatic like [emoji38]

It's all probably true, but calling all of your youth players shit and thick probably isn't the best man management exercise.

He’s the left-back Dummett should be and Burn’s the centre-back he should be. Think we’ve done well getting these two. Will improve the way we play out of defence and both seem as though they can defend.

He's so canny in that interview like. :lol:At times it was like a bad job interview with the shaking voice, not answering all of the questions, not being specific with his answers.

I've warmed to him straight away.

Like the look of him. Nervous in font o cameras because he's a footballer not a celebrity. Could be a LB David Batty.

He's a sound bloke.

Thinking about it, it was not having Grealish in front of him that exposed his ability getting forward.

I hope he does well for you.

Hang on, Alan Pardew calling other people 'shit' and 'thick'?

I have family in Birmingham, most support Birmingham, but a few support Villa and they reckon he’s a solid top-half PL defender easily, a good guy and they are left scratching their heads as to why they’ve loaned him out, mind they also say Young has been decent this season. My cousin did say Targett will bring just as much off the pitch in the dressing room as on it.

Young has been excellent for us wherever we've used him this season, so I do kind of get it, that we have another option there, and Digne is clearly much better than Targett.

But Targett, with the right person in front of him, is a more than decent player.

I reckon the reason we've sent him out is because he wanted it, I genuinely don't think Gerrard would have pushed him out.

Which bodes well for you, in that he'd be coming to get game time.

One other thing about him - he's one of those players who cares. Is clearly gutted when things go badly. He's got a heart.

Looks canny good on the video I watched ?

sometimes wonder if I haven’t realised just how bad some of our players have been. I mean, I thought I was aware but was I actually?!

To be fair, if Pedro111 did a compilation vid of Matt Ritchie, other teams fans would be utterly creaming themselves if they were on the verge of signing him.

/No disrespect meant for Matt Ritchie.
