Guest HTT II Posted February 9, 2022 Share Posted February 9, 2022 I know people who are close to him/his family and he’s had mental health issues since he was a kid from what I’ve heard and has been getting help, he clearly has some mental block, but he’s still a very very good ‘keeper on his day and as erratic as he was, the score would have been bigger if not for him. Aye definitely, from what I’ve heard, he takes it in good humour, mind I wouldn’t rule out him giving it large at some point should he get one over us at some time in the near future and who could blame him. If I’m a young goalkeeper from the NE though, he’s a role model given what he’s went on to achieve. Same with Henderson. Im friends with some of his close mates (never met him myself) and he’s often with them. He usually sends football kits up for their kids that I’ve seen on social media. Had the misfortune of seeing him in a Newcastle hotel lobby a few years ago; was kicking off because they told him he couldn’t park his Mercedes literally right in front of the entrance doors.
