Guest
Fly lands on Jota's shoulder. Jota goes through the Earth's core and finds Unobtainium.
Tiresias
Aaaaaah ffs. Not sure we would have scored if that went another 90 minutes. They were very good defensively, our forwards are not good enough
Guest neesy111
Good competive game tbh, Liverpool deserved the win but we competed alright.
Geordie Ahmed
Not too gutted, they are clearly levels above us so to keep it at 1 isn't to be scoffed at These games are useful in showing us what we need to do in the summer
The Prophet
Good effort and application, but we could have played all day and we wouldn't have scored. The attack has to be the priority in the summer.
Billy Warthog
Well, it wasn't a thrashing. That's encouraging at least, but we absolutely need more of a threat up front than what we have now. Well done lads.
nufc123
Didnt deserve anything here. Liverpool on a different planet. No shame, but my god we need a new front three.

Don’t give him a squad number and promote someone from the youth team instead. He’s one of the worst players I’ve seen up front for us. Centre forward with pace and scrap the target man all together for me.
Mike
So frustrating, but encouraging to be frustrated at this after what we saw the first half of the season.
SUPERTOON
Game just further highlights how much we need to improve in the attacking third. A striker and 2 attack minded midfielders are absolutely key
Amir_9
Proper dogshit game this is. They deserve the win but we may as well have given it to them. Doubt we would have scored in another 90 today and its not all because of their defending either.

AyeDubbleYoo
Weird one, low score is really down to poor finishing than a great defensive performance. Anyway, effective goal difference improvement based on how much other people concede

maze
That's that. Fuck off, Liverpool. Burn in hell.
TRon
Bastards. Can't wait for the day we send Klopp skulking quietly down the tunnel instead of celebrating like he's entitled to win every game they play in.
The Butcher
They're miles ahead of us. For now.
Shearergol
Still massive weaknesses in the squad, but we already knew that. I was desperate for it to be us who ruined their quadruple though.
David Edgar
We are desperate for quality forwards.

54
Fair play to that, we gave them a good game, defended resolutely and limited them, can't really complain. Know where we need to strengthen.

Was really a bit of an emergency purchase when things were looking very dire, but yeah, don't like the look of him at all, unless he is upfront with another striker that drops in and holds up the ball, as was the case at Burnley. He cannot play upfront alone at all. Edited April 30, 2022 by KaKa
Fatwax
Is it bitter to think that the Liverpool players were suspiciously that much fitter and able to recover? Or is the gulf in ability really that big?
