Be fun to see what his stance is come summer if Etitike is clear number one. Another season of being 2nd guy, or kick off for a move elsewhere?

Has a prem title at the end of season, there’s no reason to want to stick around being a back up.

You can actually see this, Ekitike looks really good.

Sadly don’t see him flopping, he hasn’t had a pre-season and will surely score goals in that side.

Still enjoyed watching him do fuck all and long may it continue. What I will say about Isak is that he doesn’t strike me as a club man like Bruno, purely in it for himself.

Ekitike has started on fire there and has completely won the fans over already.

He's also much better at pressing and his motor runs hotter.

Like the way this is going so far. Going to be very awkward for Isak, initially at least, which will be fun.

He was streaky with us. Will probably be similar in Liverpool. Absoutely unstoppable at his best, but not very useful when he's not fit or out of form.

Yeah, it's interesting.

He's not going to have the luxury of starting the majority of games consecutively and finding that rhythm either.

And Hugo starting so strongly definitely adds an element of pressure to perform.

I know people wish for his death/career ending injury, but I’m more of the mindset that the best scenario is that he is relentlessly half-fit, scoring intermittently and causing arguments over whether he should be in the first team or not, with Ekitike in the wings. Prolonged mediocrity is what I’m hoping for. If he’s broken or uber shit then they’ll just replace him, which is nee good.
