I understand this view, just hope that the rumours of his groin being fucked are true.

He might come back less than 100% if he feels nervous about getting into challenges for fear of doing his leg again.

He might never be quite the same player again. Here's hoping.

So ... it appears the Isak news came out of Spain or is now being covered there too.

Sounds like he hasn't enjoyed being rotated with Ekitike or his role in Slot's setup. Hope this one keeps gathering pace and it turns into a big fat mess ;D

Alexander Isak has asked his agents to remove him from Liverpool and call Barça

The Swedish striker is considering a change of scenery after less than a year

The transfer market is starting to heat up and one of the names that is emerging strongly is that of Alexander Isak . The Swedish striker is not going through his best moment at Liverpool and, according to English media, he has already conveyed a clear decision to those around him: he wants to leave the club. His time at Anfield , despite the expectations generated upon his arrival, is not working as expected and the player is starting to look for an alternative.

The lack of continuity and an unclear role within the team have been determining factors in the striker's decision. Isak has not managed to establish himself as a key player and his performance has been conditioned by this same irregularity. This situation has led him to reconsider his future even before completing a full season with the English team.

Barça appears as the preferred option

In this sense, the striker is clear about what his ideal destination would be. Isak has asked his agents to initiate contacts with Barça , a club that has already shown interest in him in previous stages, but that never made a formal offer for him. The Swede believes that the Barça style of play can enhance his qualities and offer him the prominence that he is not finding in England.

For its part, as is known, Barça continues to explore the market in search of solutions for its attack. The possibility of incorporating a striker with mobility, association capacity and goal scoring fits into the sporting planning. In addition, the fact that the player himself is willing to facilitate the operation is a factor that could play in their favor.

A negotiation conditioned by context

Despite the player's desire, the operation will not be easy. Liverpool do not envisage an easy exit, especially after having recently bet on him. However, the pressure of the player and the evolution of the market could open a door in the coming weeks. Everything will be in the hands of the Anfield leaders, who will have to choose between giving the player a new opportunity or closing this folder before it becomes a historic failure.

The reality is that Isak's future is up in the air. Thus, the Swedish striker is positioned as one of the names to watch in the next transfer window, with Barça on the horizon and a possible operation that will depend on multiple factors, both sporting and economic, in a summer that is expected to be particularly eventful.

Liverpool never really felt like an end destination and it seemed odd he was so desperate to go there.

Obviously a step up from us, no argument there, but even during the Klopp years Liverpool were always a tier down from the absolute elite clubs (eg Barcelona) who, if he considers himself one of the top few strikers in the world, you'd assume he'd want to play for at some point.

He believed like most, Livrael were going to walk the league and pick up a couple of trophies along the way. Might not even end up with CL at this rate. Big injury, not being 1st choice, whole country needling him and laughing. Aye, I can see why he wants to move on, and we know he'll make it happen. The club might just have to accept its failures, lose £50m on him and move forward. Thry need to replace salah and won't get a fee for him, so need a big chunk coming from somewhere.

Just checked, no mention yet.

But lots of mentioning how we have the best full backs in the league and all the star players will want to leave now they've seen Isak disrespect us.

Hate their gloating.

It could be a prohibited subject. They tend only to allow positive discussion on their forums. If there's some particularly bad or controversial Liverpool news, they're know to lock down the entire forum. They're a right bunch of freaks [emoji38]

Ironically the Elitike transfer might just have put his nose massively out of joint manly because Ekitike is going so well. I think from memory I saw a quote from him years ago where he said how much he admired Barcelona. Be interesting to see what happens but I can’t see him moving this summer unless he’s starting acting like a cunt there and they want shot of

him.

All that media talk feels like bullshit. The likely outcome is he comes back and has a much better season next year than this and unfortunately Liverpool are probably a force again, especially if they bin the manager.

Annoying but probably how it will play out.

Still feels sore to think about him and how loved he was here to do what he did to us last summer. Ruined his season this year and ruined ours aswell. If he has just given us one more year, helped us have a good season I think he would have left with everyone's blessing this summer and fond memories could be kept by all. He ruined that with his greed.
