Because no matter who they are, they're one injury away from their career being ruined.

 

So I always get the logic in selling a star for a huge amount, in order to buy 3 or 4 mint other players.

I think he's injured but we aren't giving anything away so we don't get ripped off over fees. Eddie has done this before with injuries.

all the big clubs are having a mare this summer re moving the deadwood. Liverpool only able to sell Quansah at 30m.

They have sold an academy player for £35m and have a lot of other players to sell too. They get Isak for £150m and Saudi gives them £50m for Nunez and Diaz goes for £60m, they can afford to do it sadly. We just have to accept we can’t compete with this sort of stuff right now
