Newcastle United vs. Bournemouth: 17/09/2022 @ 3pm (No UK TV)

Hopefully we're not trying to emulate being Man Citys tiki taka with 1.50cm tall players passing the ball among themselves outside of the opposition area for 80% of the match and try to be a bit more direct. If so, there is more than enough room for Joelinton in years to come imo, provided he keeps the level he is at now or improves. He's more than good enough with the ball, and it'll be easier for him too if/when we get players who are better at keeping the ball and making themselves available for passes.

I'd be very sad if he wasn't a regular for us still in 2-3 years time.

Players not singing the anthem? Not surprising really given that a lot of them are Europeans and probably haven't gotten over the whole losing two world wars.

I love him too but is he good enough on the ball to be in a midfield that regularly pushes and gets into the top 6? It's a medium term issue anyway, for the time being beg jow is fine for smashing into opposition players and getting into fights.

Absolutely, yes.

He's struggled without Bruno. In a couple years time we need players that don't struggle no matter who's out injured.

He hasn't struggled at all. He's done what he always does and has continued to be one of our best players.

The players around him that have come into the team for Shelvey, Bruno and even ASM have not done enough.

As it’s the only 3pm, it’s on pretty much everywhere: https://www.liveonsat.com/uk-england-all-football.php

Thank you. I’ll try and find a freebie and inform the pilot to fuel the engines accordingly—which would obviously (…and stuff), in reality be the least cost effective way of watching a Toon match ever!
