Fuck’s sake, these niggling injuries this season are starting to become more of an issue as we’re not getting a run of games with the same 11 / same type of 11

Not really an issue tomorrow though, he hasn’t been starting for weeks anyways. Bruno and Wilson are the 2 most important players currently in an attacking sense.

Bigger blow than it might otherwise have been because I don’t think Dalot is up to much, would have fancied ASM. Murphy it is, got to hope he keeps it up. Would have been nice having Isak to have a go there. We’ve really got no luck with injuries this year.

He wouldn’t have started anyway. Murphy has done well in fairness, so wouldn’t be dropped. Not the same level of threat but we are more disciplined.

Could even see Big Joe push forward that side, he tends to pick crosses/passes well in forward positions. Or could be a well open game for Elliott Anderson to make his presence known.

Bit concerning for Maxi though if true.. he’s pretty much been eased back.

Big Joe going left wing is a shout mind. Wouldn't rule out Howe doing that.

I wonder if you could switch Big Joe and Little Joe around positionally - play Big Joe LCM and Little Joe LW

He mentioned the prospect of that in his presser too. Would certainly prefer him to Fraser.

I think he might stick with the same team tomorrow though and then rotate for the others.

It's potentially a massive week, like. Two really hard away games against teams who will definitely finish between 3rd and 7th, plus a potential stinker against Everton who annoyingly appear to be top half material as well. If we come out of these fixtures with 6+ points then we're right there in the Euros battle. Four keeps us in the pack, but three and under means it's an opportunity missed. And if the latter should happen, so be it.

Brighton losing last night represents an opportunity too, because they've got Man City and Chelsea in their next three.
