We could do with Man U out the way for a couple of seasons. Spurs aren’t going anywhere off the back of this. No one with any proper ambition is joining them for one season in the CL group stage.

It’s grim as fuck that Spurs have won a major trophy, especially being so horrific all season but we knew coming into this game tonight what the two outcomes were and this is the best one, I’m not exactly delighted but I am pleased as this isn’t going to damage us at all. Man U winning it could have damaged us way more in the transfer market and into the next few seasons. They could have reestablished themselves off the back of this. Spurs will be lucky to finish top ten next season
