I said the expectation at our end, and the expectation of the player, was that he would join imminently. I shared what I was told by one of our current players + an agent I have got to know.

We’ll be able to tell pretty easily from his performances how much he wants out (Guehi that is). It already looks like he wants out and he’s a model pro but if it continues it tells way more of a story than anything he could say

Looking like the Everton version of Gordon at the moment. Not sure if it's fitness or not wanting to play in the right, the liverpool rumours from summer but no where near the energy and desire we've come to expect. 

 

Let's hope for a better 2nd half.

Not sure what's going on, wondering if the loss of key figures to him in Matt Ritchie and potentially Kieran Trippier have him anxious, he's a very emotionally driven individual.

It honestly seems like he’s sulking, really hope it’s just a fitness issue and he thinks about saving energy in some spots but this isn’t the same Gordon from last season. Never seems to smile anymore either.

I don’t think he is that bad today. He even has a few classy moments after back to the left.

He was awful, particularly in the second half, hopefully some sort of fitness issue or slight injury rather than head turned and sulking, pretty much nothing he tried came off and he wasn't as quick getting back as you'd expect from him.

 

Hopefully he sorts out whatever it is that's not right, even if it's just a patch of bad form.

So many unusual/unforced errors. Wonder if his confidence has taken a knock over the summer with England? Must have felt a million dollars when he joined after being player of tournament in U21 Euros. Perhaps the opposite has occurred. Hopefully temporarily.
