Probably but same question applies. How can you hold talks with him or agent before permission is granted by the club? What qualifies as being tapped up these days? What did Spurs do differently with MGW at Forest last summer that theyre not doing here?

What's legit is his agent is absolutely desperate to get him a move and has been for sometime. Obviously they've paid up the romano package anarl so I'm assuming nobody is willing to pay what we want so we get a saga.

Aye, this has been rumbling for months now, obviously no smoke without fire. Might even be we are happy to sell him for the right price if we have already got his replacement lined up.

I have no problem with players leaving for a good profit - We need to be good sellers and it's something we've historically struggled with. But as ever the most important thing by miles is who comes in to replace him, and for what price? If we can get that right, I have no issue with anyone going. But if we cannot or our targets are not available, we should refuse to sell.

 

I don't think its a slap in the face, I doubt he would go because he thought Spurs were a step up, if he goes there it's for London and a much better weekly wage.

I’m replacing like for like players in the squad. The line ups I’ll leave to Eddie and who we are up against. I’m hoping Miley can kick on again next season. His body has gone through massive change, he’s still getting used to it, the lad could be absolutely anything he wants to be.
