Nuñez is a fucking carthorse, over paid, over priced and the dippers are desperate to offload him. No no no no no.

The link is almost certainly BS anyway

Harsh IMO, I think he could hold the ball up for our midfield flyers to run past and lay on for Isak

I’d say Jackson’s brain is one of his strengths, his weakness is he’s not hungry enough for goals.

Really? What about him makes you rate his footballing intelligence? I’d say he makes bad decisions often

I just think his touch and link up play is good, he’s always looking to play someone else in rather than go himself. Not Pirlo or anything but I’d say linking the play is the main reason to have him in your team.

I do think he gets his head up looking to pass and he has decent awareness but I think he messes it up a lot. I think Howe would do wonders for him but I don’t think him and Isak fit together at all and he is ready to be / already is a first choice striker in the league so he’s not going to be too happy shifting clubs to be second choice again

Fair enough. I'll trust Eddie to make any old lump of rock into a statue.

I'm ready for the:

🇺🇾👀️ and "Nuñez only wanted Newcastle" tweets

This is obviously a logical fallacy that can be used to justify any preceding action. The choice was a Harvey Barnes for Minteh and Anderson. Barnes is good but that’s not a trade I make.

It simply wasn't though? [emoji38]  I don't know why people keep pushing the idea that Barnes specifically financially crippled us. We made £26m profit on Minteh alone, Barnes had cost us 7.5m in terms of book fees at that point and we still had to flog Anderson.

If there was a choice it was between selling a purple or letting those two leave.

Even if you want to ignore the facts, Barnes also played a massive role in our best ever season.

Nunez is an absolute donkey. He couldnt tap in chances playing with Salah, Diaz, Gakpo etc. Why on earth would he start tappin them in here. His first touch is awful, decision-making is awful, composure is awful, ball control is awful. Hes mentally weak and we shoulf avoid at all costs.

Agreed, but in fairness, we all thought the same last summer [emoji38]

At some point people are going to have to move past last summer though.

That's why Mitchell left as soon as the season ended, so everything wouldn't be laid at his doorstep again, and Howe and his guys would not feel infringed upon in any way.

It's nothing like last summer. People wanted Howe fully in charge. Now he's doing it fully his way and it's not like they imagined or anticipated, surprise surprise they're still complaining again!

Howe is very particular about what he wants and he's not going to move on as quickly from his main targets as people want, he's also going to try his best to get them even if it means losing out to other teams.

Think folks are just going to accept that is how he operates.
