NUFC Transfer Rumours

If he's as poor as you suggest, how did he get in the England squad in the first place?

I'd take his PL performances as a better barometer than his England ones. Much tougher competition for the most part. England get to whip some pretty poor teams for most of their competitive games, then it gets exponentially harder when they advance to the big tournaments.

Minus the fact that he played 46 Championship matches last season and was integral to their promotion.

Plus the fact he ditched them when they went down...

Was half their PL-relegated squad a bunch of cowards? Or just Aaronson?

Or perhaps! there was something else at play here…

You nailed it - all of them cowards. Not only cowards, twats too.

I mean, Forest are 17th and he has 1 goal. Not saying that's his game, or his fault, but people sometimes chat like he's the next Maradona.

Though I imagine that says more about Dyche than anything

Someone hasn’t watched Forest or know his nickname.

Arsenal linked with Livramento but not until the summer.

He’s not a centre back so we are safe.

Mega pay rise, London living, playing for likely champions. Wouldn't blame if he demands the move tbh. We'll remain vulnerable to being picked off by the breakaway clubs for the foreseeable.

They want Livramento to play left back apparently.

What happened to Lewis-Skelly? Wasn't he supposed to be the next England left back? Was practically lock on to start in the WC from what I heard.

About a year ago saw some Arsenal youtuber laugh at the suggestion that Hall was a better player.

I hope we absolutely rinse them for Livramento.

If Man City are interested, even better. Let's get a bidding war started. Bids to start at 80m and then take it from there.

They have Hincapie and Califiori. I don't think they are in for Tino at all.

Wouldn’t say incredibly. Do feel he is overrated. Feel like Anderson is overrated also. Talk of both costing £80-100m each is madness to me

Pretty much, English tax + hype around both midfielders.

Tino off in the summer feels very likely unfortunately, too much interest. I think it’ll probably be about getting as much as we can and re-investing. I would probably keep Hall over him if I had to choose between the two though.

What’s the price realistically? £80m+?

For Tino? Yes anything less than that and we've done poorly.

Gvardiol is a great benchmark and didn't come with any of the premiums Tino has (Pl experience, English Tax, Etc).

Would rather overpay on salary to keep Tino and Hall.

Put aside it being flavour of the month, the sensible move is to move Gordon on and use the fee to lift salaries appropriately in the squad.

Picking on Gordon as (a) there's a good fee, (b) his book value will be relatively low, (c) we have a first team left winger in the squad and we always seem to be able to spot a winger to bring in

Definitely - a starting England international who can play right or left back. I’d love him to stay but just can’t see it. Massive contract and tilt and title etc will swing it.

Cheeky punt on Evan Ferguson. seems to have found an uptick in form and not many players score 3 goals without playing
