Hall is starting to back off when he is worried the winger has him for pace. It is textbook Dummett reversing and has cost us twice in two games. He needs to work on his 1 v 1 defending to cut that out or teams will target him.

He is 20 but if he is to start game in game out for us, I hope he can improve a lot more on the defensive side of his game soon. He is a posh player but mistake like that one too often will really cost us big time.

He simply needs a level of protection, especially at this stage of his career. It wasn't there enough today.

Joelinton has been disappointing defensively in the last 2 away games, appears he may be playing through something.

Yeah. He always seems to have various niggles that he’s playing through. But going down a lot more than usual of late.  Throw in the fact that he’s miles off his usual, physical levels then it would make sense.

The fact he’s not had his 5th yellow for what, 3-4 games now and not really looked close to getting one says it all

Just needs to show him the byline more, Mbuemo is their version of our antony; loves to cut inside

Looking at their line up before the game, Mbuemo and Wissa looked like they would cause the most problems. I was surprised that we didn't seem to have any plans to counter Mbuemo in particular. He had a field day against Hall, who got left 1 v 1 too often for my liking. I thought we might have doubled up on Mbuemo considering he was such a key player for them.

Thought he had regressed?

Are you kidding?

He's absolutely growing into everything I want from a fullback, still learning, he's come on more than any player, I thought Livramento was going to be the one, however, it's this lad, if he keeps doing the basics right, listening, learning, his trajectory is going beyond.
