Mental that we've not signed a RW. No two ways about it.

Should have been the first signing we made.

Sick of Guehi talk. At least we have options at CB when players come back from injury. We have fucking nowt on the RW, might as well have Monty the Magpie playing there.

Such an uninspiring half of football. Isak was our only good player there, followed by Bruno, Tino and Pope. Everyone else was somewhere between poor and very poor. Joelinton won’t have a worse half all season, Murphy probably will and Longstaff will as well. Don’t know what’s up with Gordon but it’s concerning

Bruno was awful by his standards like. Fine on the ball but absolutely nowhere near the physical levels required.

Gordon isn't a striker like. Absolutely pointless having him there.

Not sure why Kelly needs to play or what he’s adding. Longstaff doesn’t believe in himself. We don’t have a discernible strategy on the basis of 1.5 games. Lacking in effort, ideas and basic professionalism. This is why people are predicting us mid table.

No one comes out of that half looking good tbf, need to wake up, we don't look like the team we can be, weak and feeble on and off the ball, passing is horrific, making the wrong choices, second to every ball.

We'll never win anything if we can't start performing away from home. Hard to see us get anything from this if we keep just going through the motions. Anger inducing performance.

Canny concerning that we're so far away from the levels required so early in the season. And I'm talking physically and technically here - we're miles away, slow and weak in possession, no zip to any of the players, no pressing as a unit, nothing. We look absolutely fucked.

Plausible that a trip to Australia, a trip to Germany and a trip to Japan hasn't made for the most appropriate off-season? Or am I searching for excuses?

It's long overdue to call time on the Eddie Howe experiment. Some of us have been saying it for a while but there will be no more clear display than that half of football.

We do look a side in need of freshening up. Gordon is non-existent in his role. Joelinton is having one of those games, but we cannot afford that. Not too dissimilar from a Bruce team, which should never be the case.

God I hope Tonali hasn’t forgotten how to be a footballer over the last year

I'm really hoping he slots right in, like. Longstaff is a tough watch at the moment. Plays with absolutely no belief and kills any momentum we might have going forward by taking an age to do anything.

Actually think Miggy would be effective coming on. We don't seem to be keeping the ball well in the final third and the killer balls have been poor.

Eddie has frequently bemoaned our inability to keep possession, but there hasn't been any significant improvement bar a few flashes. Why ?

We have a number of players that aren't good on the ball and breakdown our play repeatedly.

But when you say we're better off playing either Barnes or Gordon there, you have some clown talking about different position nonce brigade.

Perfect. We'll keep watching this instead.

Aye, time to try playing our best three attacking players all at once and have Gordon and Barnes switching wings if neither is having any luck on their side

When your Bruno's, Isak's and Gordon's aren't playing. You really notice how many bang average players we have. It's actually quite worrying tbh

A week away from September and Jacob Murphy still starting for us with nearly everyone fit and available.

Bang average side when we're still fielding Longstaff, Murphy, Krafth. Not sure what's up with Gordan, seems way off the pace and without him we have zero outlet. Thought we were too reliant on him last season, so when he's not firing on 'any' cylinders we're bereft of attack down the wings. Should be 0-0 though. Hate gifted goals like that.

We started well the first twenty minutes. We’re just always going to struggle to grab hold of games with our lack of control and technical ability. The PL is full of good teams and managers now, and they’ve been recruiting better than us recently.
