People still not able to understand rotation is it? Probably a good crossover with those who’ve previously moaned at how for not changing the team enough an’ all.

Your probably right here, I guess Eddie's lack of rotation previously is throwing folks off.

Obviously frustrated compounded by an awful team and an awful individual performance when he came on.

I've no problem with the guy, I'm confident he'll be a great player for us. It's not help showcase his ability in these first games of the season, mainly because the team as a whole are dealing with 'issues' that need resolving. He's had moments and he's obviously quick, he just needs to settle, get used to the training/instructions, once we're back to normal as a team.

People's main frustration with Elanga will be that he's more Murphy or a actually a Gordon than Isak, Tonali or Bruno.

A player with some great attributes but not a great player. And it's tha technical gap. Solid technically but a level below the elite. Like at his best Marcus Rashford is too good on the dribble and strikes a ball too cleanly. Same story for Isak. Gordon doesn't have that top ceiling ability and neither does Elanga.

What you would hope they both have is a higher floor. Greater work rate and mentality.

Yesterday the formation I think threw everyone off and we never recovered. Tino was the only player going forward that looked good imo

Yep

Same ones who complained when we got a load of injuries

Same ones who wanted us to just play Ndiweni and the rest of the kids who weren't good enough

I think the problem last night was everything was coming down our right and in lieu of opportunities opening up for him/us, Elanga started trying to force it. To be fair to him though, it wasn't just him doing that - I think Schar had a couple of balls too where he was really trying to play extremely difficult passes to open Leeds up and just didn't get them right.

Imagine joining the club to link up with your best mate and international star colleague only for them to leave at the end of the window. [emoji38] Hope he'll be fine.

Just cave in post this. Poor Anthony! Hope the others can make up for the losses.

Needs to work on his crosses. Actually they all do; the amount of overshot crosses Is ludicrous.

Needs a lot of work (all of them) especially when it appears our only strategy is bomb down a wing, launch a hit and hope for the best.
