STM
I think he looked really good and actually was a mature performance because he spent a half out of position.
Infinitely Content
His crossing is Murphy-level, but with explosive pace and ability to beat his man more often than not. He's going to be a tremendous player for us. Dynamite.
Smal
he still looks like he’s got a fair way to go in terms of getting used to our patterns and movements but his pace is crazy. You can see why Eddie wanted him.
The College Dropout
Thought he was really good. Some excellent deliveries and frightening pace. Only small qualm is I guess he was the body you would hope would prevent the winner.

Yeah he should have done better on the goal, he didn't track his man but he was gassed at that point, you could see he was running on fumes.
jack j
I thought he was sloppy with the ball a few times first half and abit slow in the press Decent 2nd half though

He put three class balls in the first half alone which if Captain Cunt had of been playing he’d have had two or three assists.
HayDen Traces
Didn't Eddie say before the game Murphy is nursing an acchiles injury, so they were being careful with him given the fixtures ahead
Lush Vlad
I always remember being wary of his pace when we played Forest. But I don’t remember him being that fast! He was doing the old fashioned touch down the line, beat his man for pace and then whip it in all first half. Seemingly at will. Had Kerkez beat nearly every time. Those through balls in behind are going to cause carnage, as well. Could see a slight variant of the Trippier-Bruno-Almiron passing triangle down that side. If he gets the odd game through the middle or off the left. His pace will be effective in a different way, as well.
HayDen Traces
His pace... even after 90+ mins was insane. Trying to think whether I've seen a faster player at SJP. Fire in those boots
Gallowgate Toon
Some of his deliveries last night deserved to have a big Scandinavian on the end of them.

I was really onboard with this signing at the time, love that he can score with both feet and he has a wicked delivery IMO. But must admit I was a bit concerned at a few dodgy first touches in the pre-season games, but he was electric last night. With a proper CF he would have had a couple of assists yesterday...and his first touch was magic as well.

Chicken Dancer
Sometimes I thought he held back actually making a run down the line when Trippier/Bruno had the ball and could have played him in, certainly first half. But agree, thought he had a decent game.
Gallowgate Toon
Kerkez was unbelievable when we played Bournemouth in January, might've been the performance of the season against us at home. Couldn't believe it was the same player last night, he looked rubbish.
Conjo
He'll get plenty of goals from Bruno playing him in behind against keepers that aren't Allison.

We were often 432 so not entirely his man. But aye he needed to make sure there wasn’t an overload. He wasn’t even close. Harsh as we had 10. Probably question why we were so attacking from Howe. But all game we looked vulnerable when sitting back. Liverpool worked the ball really well when given a bit of time.
