Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Newcastle United (04/01/25)

I hate how this team makes us suffer through matches like this man [emoji38]

Was all about the result though. Did well to grind out the win. Spurs were good second half. Really tough for them.

Thought Willock did great coming in upfront and pressing as Isak had completely stopped doing so.

That pass Longstaff gave away that led to that break for them man. Thought they were going to score from that.

Absolutely massive result to get all 3 points today. Can just kick back now and enjoy the weekend.

Howe needs to develop more trust in the players on his bench.

Think he was totally vindicated again tbh. Porro's crosses were a threat but ultimately we didn't look like conceding in the last throes of the game. Managed it well.

Pretty poor performance bar half an hour in the first half. But it keeps the run going and if someone suggested back to back wins at Old Trafford and Spurs, only 3-4 weeks ago you would have thought it unlikely.

I thought we were immense. Not our best, but stood strong. Nervy, horrible watch but deserved win 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We made hard work of it and looked knackered, but definitely deserved on the chances we had. Felt like an off day despite the win, but they also offered nothing really,  largely thanks to our backline. Hope we can get some energy back soon.
