Highland Geordie. A twitter “ITK” who is sometimes right about some stuff.

Bucket of salt as usual but thought it was interesting that it lined up with Mr Puppets

It doesnt line up, "HG" has probably just read Shadow Puppets post on this forum and then put a tweet out as if he knows something.

Fucken hate those twitter ITK's they're completely weirdos.

Not you @Shadow Puppets I like your stuff, you do seem to get a bit correct.

Oh… thought it was a journalist.

Although I do like SP posts so you never know, can definitely see why they’d push for that outcome.

Would be happy with that. Provided Isak isn't a total cunt and refuses to play or put any effort in.

That would be an awfully strange way of trying to convince big clubs to shell out a hundred million pounds for you next summer.

He's criminally underrated - I have no doubt he'll do very well here.

To some extent we made Isak the player he is today. Our set up of a solid midfield 3 and loads of pace on the wings and pressing energy is a dream for any goalscoring centre forward. A good player will always score in this team and an Isak replacement, if needed, will prosper career wise.

Wissa would be a top signing, actually had him on my mental shortlist as backup to Isak. Just never thought he was gettable after Mbuemo also left.

If we get this and Sesko done it would be looking like a very good front line.

Yep. I'd actually argue that Sesko & Wissa are stronger options than Isak & Wilson. Obviously don't think Sesko is at Isak's level currently, but Wissa would be such an upgrade on Wilson it would even it out. Slightly lower ceiling, much higher floor.

He's a superb striker, the only thing which goes against him is his age. If he was 25 everyone would be gagging to get this done.

He's more of a sure thing than Sesko any day of the week.

What was so mental about your shortlist?

Just been watching the clip of every shot he had in 24/25 and he seems clinical like, quite often only getting one or two shots per match and scoring.

Non penalty goals in Premier League

Wissa 45 in 8300 minutes, from 38 non-penalty xG of chances

Isak 43 in 6533 minutes, from 39.5 non penalty xG of chances, so more goals per game but he's getting more chances per game.

He's the same age as Callum Wilson when we signed him and we had 3 good years out of him.
