When you consider the outlay of £55m on him, £55m on Elanga and £70m on Woltemade. It really does feel at the moment like a massive waste of £180m.

I know circumstances were desperate in the summer, but surely we should have plucked for cheaper unknown quantities in that case.

When they talked in the past about how they can barely afford to get a single transfer wrong, that's 3 just there that look like they would sell for a quarter of what we paid if we sold tomorrow.

The worrying thing for me is these transfers may have fucked us for years.

With no DOF and a limited scouting network, I am sure after missing out on the first 10 targets or so they were desperate.

Wolte would sell for close to what we paid but Wissa and Elanga probably only half what we paid at best.

The team above us in the league who also play in stripes - signed 14 players for 160 million.

He's absolutely nowhere. I'm not sure he's the worst I've personally seen for us, but he's the most disappointing.

Slow, lethargic, nothing smart or technical in his play. Not even a nuisance, just nothing.

Agree with all of this. With Woltemade it at least looks like he wants to be a success here and/or at least help out the team. I don’t think Wissa actually cares about either.

I accept he is trying to get up to full speed fitness wise after his lengthy lay off but there appears to be a lack of urgency in his demeanour ,it's a bit agitating
