Safe to say that when the season ended I never ever thought we’d be in a mess like this. I thought we’d be building properly and cement our place in the top 5/6. It’s all going in the opposite direction at the moment. Not a lot of positivity around the place right now. Most of that is our own fault too.

It's actually amusing because man United do not need Sesko, they need someone experienced.

We need Sesko because we can't afford an older player with no resale value.

They might not even be serious about Sesko, at least not this season. It might be Sesko is pining to be a Man U player and is prepared to wait.

This is unfolding exactly as many of us said, we’re being used to encourage bids from other parties. Hopefully we’re also in talks with another target so we’re not starting from scratch again when we move on from this.

New front 3 for Man U looks tasty on paper

Yeah, we’ve dropped the ball. Man Utd won’t be too far behind us this season, if behind us at all

This is tough.

The transfer droids are regurgitating press briefings. If it's coming from Sesko's camp then I'd say we're done here and need to move on. A record transfer that would actually prefer to move to Man Utd is a recipe for disaster.

If it's Man Utd trying to save face because they feel they can't do the deal for financial reasons it's more palatable.
