Sort of kicking the can down the road but he'd be a good replacement for Isak in our system. Cannot see Villa selling us him to us for anything remotely reasonable though. He is but he presses the first line, and our press is very much situational nowadays. Resale value is very important for us, we need as many players who can be sold as possible, we want to choose who we sell and not be bounced in to it. As we've seen with strikers this window, the market is inflated and it's a horrible time to need one. We have to think long term it's absolutely vital. When a bigger club is also after the same player as us, we're rarely going to be their first choice. And if he does end up joining Newcastle, it doesn't mean he's not going to enjoy it here or not be successful.
