Even if I agreed with this 'can't win with the cartel clubs sniffing about' point, for the club to not learn that lesson and carry on with the same strategy still means that the blame lies at their door.

This is incompetence on show and the world is watching.  I’ve seen folks talk about how selling Isak would damage the club’s image - this is far worse in my view.  We look like an ugly bloke trying to chat up the best looking women in the club, then looking stunned when they say ‘no’ to our charms.  

 

I'd say the only incompetence is from whoever is failing to get us sponsorship deals etc to boost our revenue. Hidden gems are out there of course, but as soon as a team like us come calling, agents are on the blower to get them a better deal elsewhere. You can't blame us for going for top class, known players. That's what big clubs do. We're trying, but it's the PSR fucking us over more than anything.
