I like the look of him. Big, powerful, still fast. Probably not the most clinical of strikers but seems to have a knack for scoring crackers. Overpriced? Most probably, as every other player out there.

Under Howe, I think he’d do well. But he’ll probably go to Man U and flop.

I'd rather you did that too [emoji38]

Either way you'd be downgrading Isak to Sesko and you've already downgraded Murphy to Elanga so I'm not too concerned.

Not really considering we've kept Murphy.

Hojlund scored a peach of a header last night. Not sure Sesko has that in his locker.

Rather keep Hojlund and put the money towards a midfielder.

I live in Manchester, and everyone I know who goes to the games thinks Hojlund is shite.

I obviously don’t go to any of your games unless it involves nufc, but I think he’s got real potential.

whats your take?

I go to games. He's not shite, but he was shite last year. I want him to get another chance. He has a good attitude, works hard and he showed plenty the season before. Still only 22 as well.

Obviously wouldn't be passing up the chance to sign a top striker at the same time.

He barely deflected the cross

This is a very peculiar way of criticising a goal.

a game he played for you in Europe in his first season where he bagged a hat trick (I could be mis remembering that) he looked brilliant.

I’d have him at Nufc, genuinely. There’s a player there i think.

I liked Hojlund when they signed him tbf. Still think there's a player in there and has potentially less Nazi vibes than Sesko.

Have maintained throughout that I doubt we were ever truly in for Sesko. But it's another one for the media to beat us up with and claim we've been gazumped by one of the established cartel.

The way things are going though I really wouldn't be shocked if Man U finished above us now :anguish:

He scored two against Copenhagen and two against Galatasaray in his first season in the CL. Then I think he had 6 in 6 in the group stages of the EL last year but then he fell off a cliff, but so did the whole team really except for a couple of players.

He's a good player. Just needs to play to his strengths and face the goal instead of sticking his arse into defenders.

The guy's agent is nuts. Heard it was the main reason he never ended up at Arsenal last season and then again this season, despite him being Arteta's preferred striker signing.

At one point they were even saying he had asked Arsenal to include a release clause this summer. God only knows what he's requesting for Newcastle to sign him.

Didn’t hear Isak coming out with those lines when we were after Wissa. Filthy snake

TBF I think Hojlund realises he's back to Hod carrying when his contract is up

Why would Sesko see all this and still choose to go there? If Hojlund starts performing and Sesko needs time to adapt to the Premier League, he could find himself warming the bench in no time

You'd have to have the lowest self belief of all time to not back yourself against Hojlund, like [emoji38]
