Did Ramsdale actually go to meet the rest of the team in Asia?

Doesn't look like it and tbh didn't make sense to as it's quite a journey

Apparently training at Arsenals training ground whilst he nurses a groin injury.

Was there not a first day on tyneside video? Unless they are waiting for the lads to return.

Just him sat in the changies thinking he’s on his own and the camera pans to seeing Isak in the background emptying out his locker

Got to say, I've warmed to this signing. Didn't realise he was in the PL team of the season a couple of years ago, and playing as a keeper for that shit Southampton side is a hiding to nothing. Seems a good lad too from his interview, and knowing all the coaching staff can only be a good thing for settling him in

I wanted to be against this, but I'm so beaten down by our recent transfer windows and now he's won me over completely with these interviews.

It's nice to feel wanted and Ramsdale's enthusiasm/personality fits so well. Hope he finds form for us.

I have a feeling him and Pope will rotate more than usual for keepers, and they'll both get a decent amount of games.

If Ramsdale does ok, I think we'll sign him permanent and Pope will leave next summer with a new younger keeper coming in under Ramsdale.

I don't think we have a choice. Wasn't it an obligation to buy rather than an option?
