So unlucky he had to come off, was our best player.

Yep losing him and then having only Joelinton and Willock to build moves 2nd half really didn't help. Neither have any technical ability with their passing. WIll give Joe credit for faking the cross that led to Murphy's goal but we missed Ramsey when he went off.

Weird how he was so good first half then came out ill as fuck after half time.

My concern with him has always been consistency and output tbf. Been pretty clear on that in all of my posts.

He was really good first half, shame he had to come off

Was our best player by a country mile - curious to know what happened at HT.  Came onto the pitch but then looked like he was throwing up or something.

Such a shame he had to go off. If he had stayed on i think we could have won. It's great to have a player who can replace some of what Bruno does for us; creativity and press resistant

A light in the darkness.

Newcastle player of the month for February 2026 is like winning a prize for being the most sexually active person in a Games Workshop branch.

Nevertheless, well done Jacob, his Newcastle career is starting to come to life.

Probably norovirus. Woltemade is also talking down the big white telephone apparently.

"Jacob Ramsey has recovered after being ill but Nick Woltemade is absent with a similar issue. "There's an illness in the squad. Nick has gone down ill and we haven't seen him for a couple of days," said Howe, adding: "We'll give him every chance [of recovering for tomorrow]."
