Think the quote I saw assume after the game was that the gaffer wanted his numbers up. Assume in metrics point of view as well as attacking contributions. Was it his ball for the willock offside? He definitely had a good game combative in the duel while also being attack minded. Still not sure of his tracking back when we are getting pressed in the second half willock and him both not busting a gut to get back. Celebration maybe was just a culmination of the feeling of "finally arriving" it wasnt our biggest outlay in the summer by a long shot but assume he will have wanted more than being villas rotation option to our rotation option. Athletic, understands the league, possibly feels hard done by at previous club due to being overlooked... I know he came with the English tax but he's certainly growing into the role.
