It's a header on goal from six yards out with little time to react and he instinctively reacts to try and stop a goal, hardly idiotic. The Burnley handball was 10x worse. Just seeing none of this now. He looks lightweight, not much pace, zero creativity. Basically a passenger. Think back to when Bruno made his debut, and following games.. we knew we’d gotten a serious upgrade. Was obvious right from the start. Just not seeing it here. You cannot make a case for Ramsey to start ahead of Lewis Miley or Joelinton. Feel the same after watching him yesterday. When watching him for Villa he looked like a bull. Strong, full of energy, going past players with ease.

Yeah it wasn't a heinous error. A bit silly but it happens in a flash and it's not like he's tried to save it. It's no great evidence base but I thought he looked alright on the extended highlights. Fashioned a nice chance for Woltemade which he should've done better with (which seemingly comes with the territory with the lad tbh).
andyc35i
I still get annoyed that we sold two players (Anderson and Minteh) for half the price of the two that replaced their positions in Ramsey and Elanga. And you could argue that the quality is far lower too - this makes such a mockery of financial fair play Edited December 7, 2025 by andyc35i We’re lacking magic in the transfer window right now

When you have so many games to play you need a squad of players which can manage all those games. At least some of them aren’t going to be ‘top players’. Some of them just need to be good enough. Tbf, I didn't get to see the game live yesterday, but watching the extended highlights back this morning he was more involved that I thought. Still a negative contribution with the penalty conceded, but he did set up Wolt for what should have been our opening goal. I'm hoping there's more to come and we haven't really seen him at his best. Not sure how sticking your arm out stops a goal mind. More likely you get a red and the penalty is scored.

Monters
Only one game but if Minteh performed for us the way he played for Brighton today there’d be hell on! Looked like he’d won a raffle to get on the pitch, absolutely woeful

toontownman
Still have hope for this lad. He clearly isnt impressing Eddie if Willock is ahead of him. Maybe we are being cautious because of his injury issues. Maybe (definitely) I am clutching at straws.

Chicken Dancer
Spending £140m on him, Wissa and Elanga is gross misconduct. I know it’s almost illegal to have a pop at Howe but that is utterly tragic like.
