He hasn’t organised teams in years. He’s absolutely finished.

My recent memories of his teams were over emphasis on defence, and him being a prick generally. I didn't particularly like the way his teams played post-Chelsea, but he never struck me as someone who didn't know what he wanted his players to do.

Iraola lost Huijsen, Zabarnyi, Kerkez and then Semenyo in January. Kluivert has been injured most of the season too.

Crazily enough they are now unbeaten in their last 13 league games. They're now 3 points off 6th. If they finish strong Iraola will be shortlisted for manager of the year and deservedly so.

Iraola will manage a top side imo

Mourinho is tragic

It wouldn't just be the football either, imagine the "this isn't the club of Mr Robson" bullshit and gaslighting we'd get when it inevitably goes south

Would take Iraola. Emery is the one though. No chance we get him.

I love Eddie but I do wonder where we would be now with our spend with Emery

Don’t open that can of worms buddy.

Good manager who's achieved beyond his means last few years. Don't think he's what we need to push us to the next level though.

I think Silva gets a big job and fails spectacularly.

I apologise for the arrogance but managing Bournemouth doesn't come with any where near the pressures of managing NUFC, especially the current version of NUFC

Nothing in Iraola's record confirms he is capable of taking NUFC to greater heights than Champions League football and a League Cup win.

What made howes record standout then before we gave him a chance?

Amazingly they got to the knock out stages of the CL, the QF of the Carab and 5th round of the FA cup as well.

Hearing they've played more games than any other top flight team.

Go Iraola

Come on man this is a who next thread no need to have digs a people's opinions on the matter.

Is there a new rule in place that says NUFC can only recruit a new manager who is either currently managing or has recently managed in the English top flight ? Or is Jose Mourinho.

Names getting bandied about in here are about as creative as your nanna suggesting places to go on your holidays

Based on him losing Ligue 1 in his first season at PSG, only making the last 16 of the Champions League a year later, only finishing sixth with Chelsea and over-favouring experience over youth, and not particularly impressing in charge of the USA.

He used a lot of young players at spurs and Southampton so he wasn't always experience over youth.

I am not quite sure what you are asking.

Are you referring to him taking Bournemouth from -17 points of the fourth division, all the way up to the premier league ?

The key difference is that NUFC when he joined was quite different to where we are how.

If he leaves city is it impossible he'd come to us? He always speaks highly of us and his Bobby links.

Italy really want him

Issue with Iraola is it took him some time to stamp his authority on the team and produce some decent football - will he get that at a new club?

Yes every manager does.

I wish the FA hadn't extended Tuchel. Pep managing England would be amazing.

I think that was just because a lot of teams wanted Tuchel, so they get a higher buy out?
