Don’t think I’d survive watching Elanga and Wissa in the starting lineup.

I'd be quite happy to see Wissa starting tbh. He's going to start scoring goals again at some point.

Doesn't really look like anyone else is at the moment.

It won't happen, but I'd love to see this team bully them with intensity and win a resounding 3-0 or I'd even settle for a thrilling 4-3 win like the Leeds match. Hard to see any of that happening and it will be the formulaic Howe match that we're lucky to draw or lose in the last 10 min to an easily preventable goal.

I fucking hate playing these cunts at the best of times, let alone now. They'll turn up like they only ever seen to against us. Be another defeat here. Yeah, realise that's pessimistic as fuck, but just can't see anything else

At least this time there’s nowt riding on it. That cup game last year was infuriating.

Chances are we'll win eventually, could be this.

More inclined to think it'll be next season at this point

This is usually an infuriating game because we tend to play into Brighton's hands. Like us, they're highly susceptible to counterattacks and are fairly predictable with the ball, but also have the ability to transition quickly and dangerously and break on the opposition themselves.

In theory, the play is to let them have the ball, keep them in front of us, and play on the counter. But they'll be thinking the same and will actually set up like that, and we'll fall for it again. Debatable how effective we could be playing that way mind, seeing how tragic Wissa and Elanga have been, but it's playing that way and their ability to hurt teams quickly that are their biggest strengths.

We almost certainly won't do this, but I'd be looking at something like: Pope; Miley, Thiaw, Burn, Hall; Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton; Gordon, Wissa, Elanga - if Gordon isn't fit, Wissa left and Osula up top. Osula instead of Elanga is also an acceptable option.

This is actually a great opportunity for the players to stand up for Howe.

I said the same against Arsenal tbf, but they are title favourites so a difficult game. Even though I thought they were poor on the day.

If Howe wants to regain support we need to see something on the pitch pretty soon. Games are running out.
