  1. Past hour
  2. Not saying I would. He's been linked away to Villa just like Willock has to Palace. I'm just saying there's a lot of players potentially heading out the door, they will need replacing.
  3. Third in the league for most saves which is rare for a team that's been challenging near the top. It's normally mid-table keepers or teams going down and been cannon fodder that are near the top.
  4. I think 11 v 11 it would have ended the same, possibly 3-0
  5. There's a player there for sure I blame the coaching and that he's under a lot of pressure been your main striker.
  6. He loves smashing into "Labia".
  7. I've changed my position on this over the week tbh, now interested to see what they do and not so arsed about changing it. I got a bit of grief for saying this a year or two ago but got to get rid of those fucking seahorses man civic centre, city crest, don't care. They're fucking stupid I reckon it's one of the first things the chairman will have said, "wtf are they doing on the badge" Please don't do a new one but keep the seahorses
  8. Against good teams with 10 men we get stuck in no man’s land where we don’t attack with full throttle but also end up overly susceptible to the counter. Against 10 men you want to go side to side, run the legs down, have faith that a goal will come. But our crowd gets nervous at long passages of play without a shot then the players get nervous. Chelsea are also well suited to playing with 10. They do a lot of boring passing with a numerical disadvantage breeds belief and hope and helps against getting tired. I’ve seen a lot about Chelsea playing well. I don’t see it. Chelsea have a lot of possession and they maintained it with 10. But that’s it. They only created 2 half chances and Pope made only 2 saves of note. Both comfortable.
  9. Has sels been that good? Or is it his defense in front of him?
  10. I wouldn’t be “shocked” if ManU or spurs managed to get a result, but I’m pretty certain it won’t be because of work rate and commitment. Think Villa at home to Spurs is a Villa win 9/10 though.
  11. Yeah he cleared it and caciedo left a bit on him the dirty bastard.
  12. If people had a choice of a last day fixture between Everton at home or Man Utd away, surely you would choose Everton at home, despite everything around Man Utd. Find it baffling that people assume this is a GUARANTEED three points for Villa, yet we’ve got a tricky fixture that we could slip up in. FWIW, I’ve long been comfortable with our final fixture in the belief that Everton’s season effectively ends the week before with the last game at Goodison.
  13. Cucurella was getting a load of grief where I was Milburn Stand 18 yard line Gallowgate. Diving, moaning, being a twat. He reacted to the crowd a couple of times, was lovely. He didn’t like being called a cheating cunt; that’s for sure.
  14. Optimistic Nut

    Dan Burn

Is it fair to say the Botman injury last year rescued his career? It was getting sad seeing him left-back starting to get torn apart by some pretty average RWs and mistakes creeping in. Ever since he's went back to LCB when Botman got the long layoff he's been absolutely outstanding.
  15. What they should do to make everyone more people happy and make their lives easier is have someone touch up the current one so it has the right amount of detail and scales well, and then also introduce a simplified one that could play off one of the 70s/80s ones, use a Magpie, etc. The new shirts can have the new one, but they can still use the old one where it makes sense or to sell "retro" things. Liverpool created a new one but their old one isn't completely gone and they also have the This is Anfield one that has elements of both.
  16. Chelsea have always been Millwall-with-money. They may have added a bunch of new fans in recent years since the Abramovich takeover but their core fanbase have always been utter cunts.
  17. the irony. John Terry famously turned up in full kit and shin pads when he was out injured.
  18. Tindall is under the skin with so many in this league
  19. ManU and Spurs now is equal to me not even showing up for work tomorrow because Wednesday is so much more important. It’s almost like they are giving themselves an “ok” excuse to not be bothered at all. I understand priorities, but I hope we never become like that no matter what. Should always do our best and try to win and build that winning mentality like we have done so far. Im 100% certain that they won’t give their all, or even close. I can accept if we rest players sometimes and don’t manage to be as good, but the work ethic and aim to compete must always be there, otherwise there’s no chance of getting anywhere.
  20. We’ve already been over this, we would also be catchable by Forest. It has to be both of them to get beaten for a draw to be good enough.
  21. Now that Eddie's back, Maddog has gone back to his shithousing best. Hated Chelsea when the Russian owned them and even more now under the Human Capitalist.
  22. I hope they don't go with a magpie on the new badge. I wont be able to wear it. I can wear this seasons 3rd shirt because it has two magpies on it. If I want to wear an early 80s Umbro shirt, I would have to wear the shorts as well to ensure there is a second magpie present. Hopefully I'll be able to get this across to the powers that be tomorrow.
  23. if our fanbase are known for wearing football shirts at the match then good. You should go to the match with the intention of supporting your team, and part of that is wearing a shirt. better than wannabe hooligans turning up in stone island
  24. Being able to thankfully sign 3-4 players for modest sums in the first January window he had, which certainly helped, this is 100% on the money. He got to work on the training pitch, assessed what we had and knew immediately what it would take and we went from bottom to 11th in short order. Sensational. Thankfully those in charge at other "bigger" clubs still haven't learned the lesson.
  25. Wembo ticket marracation.
